Good is great at reasonable pricing. Atmosphere was fun. I totally recommend this place.
Maza is the best!! Every Tuesday is $1 tacos with the purchase of a drink per person. They do get pretty busy but the wait time is usually short! The salsa with the tacos on Tuesdays is fireeee. The ambiance is fun and tropical. Seating is solely outdoors but they have decent coverage for when it rains. Staff are all friendly. It's a must visit in San Jose!
Found this hidden gem in San Jose. Met up with a friend for a quick bite and chit chat. We choose where to seat and got greeted by the waitress. She brought us water and told us to scan the QR code for our menu. What we decide to order and rating: drinks: - mango margarita 5/5 -strawberry margarita 3/5 appetizer: -chicharones with guac 5/5 (really big chicharones, soo good. my fav) entrée: - carnitas tacos 4/5 -carne asada quesadilla 4/5 overall, had a decent time here. only problem is that it starts to get cold and you can feel it. this place is only outside patio area.
Friday evening after 5pm, starting to get busy as we were sitting & there plenty of seating. The whole restaurant is outside seating but, not an issue because it's prepared for All Weather, rain or shine & wind, you'll be fine. Everyone you come in contact at the restaurant is A1 super duper friendly, Great Customer Service. We had a waiter to our table, the great thing was everyone that worked here was on it from refills, to any questions we had, down to making sure our table was cleaned off as soon as our Adult Beverage (cups & shot cups) went empty, GONE will definitely be back to this place w/family & friends. Food was yummy, even though we only ordered appetizers cause we went there to Drank Drank next time we'll order Real Food Street Parking Only BUT you'll be fine, if your lucky, you'll find a close spot if not, you'll be ok, it'll be worth your walk
A hidden gem! This restaurant is basically a fully covered outdoor patio with a full bar and extensive menu. The sushi was a bit of a let down since everything was fried, so no fresh fish but they make up for it with many ceviche options. The birria consume was a little bland but the taco was really nice and crunchy and the meat was tender, would still eat it again lol The mango margarita was tasty and not too sweet, they sell it by the pitcher which I look forward to enjoying in the summer! You can join their waitlist on Yelp ahead of arriving. The parking situation is terrible, they should partner with the laundromat and panaderia on either side to charge for parking because there's not much street parking either. Overall, I'm glad I found this place! The service was great and I was able to bring my dog, as long as I can find parking I will be back.
